6. Open the Ally v2 app on your smartphone and on the Device tab tap "Scan for Devices."
7. When your GPS device appears, tap it. Then enter the 6-digit pairing code. Note for Android users: If you don't see the code entry form, it may have appeared in the background. Swipe down from the top to reveal it. If your app says "Swipe down to list files" your phone and GPS are now paired.
8. Now tap the More tab to activate: Phone Notifications, Live Tracking, Strava Live Segments, Strava Auto Sync and to customize your GPS unit.
9. Tap the Navigation tab to build routes and/or send instant turn-by-turn directions to your GPS unit.
10. If the pairing process gets stuck at any point, or won't reconnect, try restarting both the phone and the GPS device. Be sure to "Forget" the device in your phone’s Bluetooth setting and turn Bluetooth off and then on again. In the GPS device, back in the phone Menu, select "Reset" before trying to pair again and start the process over again.
11. If you still can't connect, double check that both the app and GPS unit are up to date, and check that your phone’s operating system is update. Then try the pairing process over again.
