A self proclaimed cycling lifer, Ian “Big DiRtY” Mullins has spent the better part of three decades racing almost every discipline all over the country. Finding success in Pro 12 and 24 hour solo mtb races, DiRtY is no stranger to pain and prefers the length of a ultra endurance race over shorter races. Speaking out against the abuse of opiates among athletes, DiRtY has become an advocate for cannabidiol (CBD) use as a recovery and heath supplement and races for title sponsor Floyd’s of Leadville which makes CBD supplements.
Stoked to join the team of Lezyne Athlete Ambassadors, DiRtY will be basing his training for the 2018 racing year on the Hawaiian island of Kauai while still making the trip to the mainland for racing and riding adventures aboard one of his many Jamis Bikes. Tune into DiRtY’s social accounts and come along for the ride.
